Apply for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters(Fully-funded Scholarships for Students worldwide)

Submit a joint master’s application for Erasmus Mundus. We welcome students from throughout the globe. You’ll attend a number of universities in Europe and other countries. The top students are eligible for full scholarships.

Why apply?

A consortium of postsecondary educational institutions jointly designs and offers the esteemed Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters program.

They involve numerous affiliated partners from the academic and non-academic worlds, as well as a minimum of three universities from three separate countries.

These usually consist of study, research, traineeship, thesis preparation, and defense times.

Scholarships available

Masters may also offer full scholarships to the best-ranked students worldwide. Scholarships cover your participation costs and contribute to

  • travel
  • visa
  • a living allowance

Masters duration

1 to 2 academic years (60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits).

Type of degree awarded

You will gain either

  • a joint degree (i.e. one single degree certificate issued on behalf of at least two higher education institutions) or
  • multiple degrees (i.e. at least two degree certificates issued by two higher education institutions of the consortium)

You’ll be able to define these in detail when you sign a study agreement with the relevant Erasmus Mundus Joint Master at the beginning of your studies.

Every year, a fresh group of carefully chosen Erasmus Mundus Masters is added to the roster.

For courses beginning the next academic year, you should typically submit your application between October and January.

All the information about the program, a list of the participating universities, the prerequisites for admission, and the stages involved in the application process (both with and without scholarship) may be found on each master’s website.

What you need

You must

  • have a bachelor’s degree (first degree), or be in your last year of bachelor studies
  • graduate before the master’s programme starts

If you can demonstrate a learning level equivalent to a bachelor’s, you may also apply. This needs to be formally acknowledged in accordance with national laws and customs in the nation that grants degrees.
